Comprehensive Technical Training and Support for DSCA and DPAA in Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) Clearance

Shoulder 2 Shoulder (S2S) plays a critical role in supporting the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) and the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) in their efforts to clear Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) and recover missing American personnel. We provide expert training and development support to the Humanitarian Demining Training Center (HDTC) and Combatant Commanders, focusing on Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA), medical support, and Physical Security and Stockpile Management (PSSM).

S2S delivers tailored solutions for both surface and underwater ERW clearance, ensuring the safe removal of unexploded ordnance and enhancing the security of partner nations. Additionally, we support field operations by providing logistics and scientific recovery expertise to assist DPAA in its mission to recover the approximately 83,000 unaccounted-for American personnel from global conflicts.

Our services include:

• Subject Matter Expert (SME) support and training for HMA, PSSM, and medical programs
• Development of custom information management and training delivery solutions
• Technical and logistical assistance for surface and underwater HMA operations
• Field and operational support for MIA recovery missions, using Scientific Recovery Experts (SRE)
