Melanie’s 19 years of experience as a software engineer spans the research, commercial, and defense domains.
After an internship with DoD contractor Concurrent Technologies Corporation, Melanie started her career at the University of Pittsburgh and Psychology Software Tools. There, she developed statistical analyses modules for functional MRI data, enabling cognitive psychologists to correlate brain activity to stimuli.

Melanie joined Inmedius in 2009. As technical lead, she oversaw software development on a team of 3 to 5 developers for a mission critical U.S. Navy application.
Melanie has served on the Posters Review Committee for the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing.
